GVPT309C

Topics in International Relations; Advances in the Study of Conflict

Prerequisite: GVPT200. Restriction: Must be in Government & Politics or Government & Politics: International Relations program. This course will bring together faculty from several top schools around the country to share the latest research on international conflict and related topics. Lectures will be pre-recorded, so you can watch them at your convenience. On the week that each instructor's lecture is aired, he or she will also host an evening Zoom meeting from 7:00-7:50pm EST every Wednesday to discuss the lecture and the readings with you. Rather than ask for a paper or midterm/final, grading will be via short multiple-choice quizzes, taken at the time of your choosing at the end of each week. In addition to quizzes, students must attend the zoom session, and complete several other short assignments every week. Students who took GVPT309C in Fall 2020 are not eligible to take this course.
