Applied Field Research in Government and Politics

Prerequisite: GVPT170. Corequisite: GVPT377.Students in this course participate as interns in an agency of government or in some other appropriate political organization. Assignments are arranged to provide students with insights into both theoretical and practical aspects of politics. Under the tutelage of the host agency and an academic advisor, students conduct a major research project of mutual interest to the student and his or her host agency in the field of government and politics.GVPT majors only and departmental permission to register.
