This class is a super easy 1-credit gen-ed! In the hybrid section, you're encouraged (read: forced) to talk to classmates, which was not an issue for me, but if you're not super talkative, you may want to take the completely asynchronous section instead. Mira was super kind and understanding when I had to make up some assignments after adding the class late in add-drop period, and the asynchronous assignments were pretty light, taking very little time out of my week to complete. The in-person classes, of which there were five in total, were also pretty easy and helped to create a better understanding of how creative thinking can be done and promote progress. |

It's what you expect -- a simple yet interesting one-credit course guiding you through the thought process of creating ideas. Extremely lenient deadlines, too. |

I had Mona and Mira, for IDEA201, and they were great! They were super understanding and you can genuinely see their love for teaching. The course itself was in person, once a week, and was very interactive (If you aren't one to socialize, maybe take the online course). You are allowed to miss 2 class days (no questions asked), anything more you will need to speak with them. Like mentioned before this is a very interactive class, majority of the time you will be asked to speak with someone and interact with the activity. Sometimes the lectures/activities could be very tedious, but for a course it is an easy A. For me, I wish it were hybrid because sometimes having to come around 2:30-3:45 was tiring and felt like a long day. But this course is great for a 1 credit/extra course you may need. |
