Vedat Diker INST410 Expecting an A Anonymous 12/10/2025	I do like him a lot. He is a very cool guy and has been my favorite professor since I took this class. He is always willing to explain the lecture slides and go over the in-class exercises every Thursday's. He is very assertive about our learning and the grades we get, but he always encourages us to use our lecture slides to do work on Excel. I wish he would use his effort to have us work in groups if we can and give us a chance to review our material for a much enhanced learning.

To provide important context for this review, I go to class and participate in the discussion. He really appreciates people who put in effort! He is so knowledgeable and explains concepts really well. He's also super understanding and has moved assignment deadlines to alleviate stress for students when things were due too close together. He moves kind of slow during the in-class exercises, so we never got through all of the questions, but he would only expect us to turn in what we got through in class. He also provides super detailed rubrics for the main course assignments.

He is also always willing to go back and explain something if you find it confusing. I highly recommend taking this class with Dr. Diker.
