Michele Mason JAPN498A Expecting an A+ Anonymous 11/07/2023	Professor Mason is one of the best teachers at UMD, hands down. I had her for JAPN498A, and she is passionate about her subject and makes even the least interesting parts of the class engaging. Classes feel more like discussions (in a good way) rather than lectures. There is a lot of reading in this class, but Professor Mason makes it manageable, and she’s really understanding with late work as long as you talk to her.
