Topical Investigations; Mathematical & Physical Bases of Human Movement & Performance
Knowledge in basic mathematics, physical laws, and statistics provide tools for kinesiologists and exercise scientists to quantify, analyze, and evaluate human movements for efficiency, effectiveness, and safety. This course is designed to provide students with knowledge and practices in basic mathematics, physics, and statistics specifically in relation to human movements and performance. Upon successful completion, this course is expected to better prepare students for the science Core courses required for Kinesiology majors (e.g., KNES300, KNES360, KNES370, and KNES385).
