Jay Goldstein KNES457 Anonymous 11/08/2021	Thought this would be a fun and easy-ish class. It wasn't. Professor is nice, but grades VERY harshly on EVERYTHING. I have never gotten bad grades consistently on group assignments and in this class, I have gotten 3 D's in a row on different assignments which is super upsetting and shocking to me. Other groups have talked about how low their grades were too. One assignment was literally worth 5 points and he gave a 1/5 to almost every group. This class went from fun to dreadful very quick. Reconsider taking it with him, or taking it at all.
Marvin Scott KNES457 Anonymous 12/15/2012	He makes sure to take off points on tests for wording instead of content. Make sure you argue with him for test points because his questions are vague and allow for multiple answers where the only one that's right is in his head. He tests a lot on what he has said so you have to write down all of his analogies instead of the actual content. Have to do weekly journals which isn't too bad, but also assigns busy work that takes a while and is worth nothing.Wish the class was more balanced for the amount of work you put in. Disappointing class.
