David Andrews KNES485 Expecting an A- Anonymous 04/25/2024	I have had the pleasure of taking two of Dr. Andrews courses and do not regret one second of it. In fact I regret not having the opportunity to have taken more. Dr. Andrews is a genuine, kind, and hilarious individual. He is passionate about his work and cares about his students. Not only has Dr. Andrews taught me some of the most valuable information I have learned at UMD but I have had some of my most enjoyable moments in his classes. I would make the claim that not only is Dr. Andrews my favorite professor throughout undergrad. I would say that Dr. Andrews is the very best UMD has to offer. He has some really great TA's as well. Protect this man at all costs!

All around great person. Do not hesitate to take one of his classes. The most valuable information I learned and most enjoyable times spent in class were under his instruction. All of his TA's are wonderful people as well. Not only would I make the claim that he is my favorite professor throughout all of undergrad. But I would also claim he is UMD's very best.
Ronald Mower KNES485 Expecting an A- Anonymous 12/20/2023	You literally cannot find a cooler professor anywhere on campus. He is so raw and super interesting and clearly knowledgeable. The class is based on discussion posts and quizzes, one per topic. You have to go to class at least 6 times. Classes are discussion based since they are only once a week, so make sure you participate because if not it will be super awkward when no one talks. Also got to go on a field trip to the African American museum in DC for a private tour with the curator of the sport exhibits which was literally the highlight of my college learning. It was SO fun and interesting and an amazing opportunity! Could not recommend Mower more, for any class :)
