Professor is very nice and lenient with grading. The course itself does not have much work to do besides reading 30-50 pages of a book before each class. There are a few papers that can be quite time consuming, but nothing too crazy. Most of lecture is just discussing what happens in the books. It was annoying not being able to see our grades until the very end of the class, but other than that I would recommend this class and professor for an easy enough A.

Hes a fine prof. Fell asleep once in class. He talks very slowly and is kind of boring. You actually have to read the books to do well on the pop quizzes. Theres a lot of books but theyre all pretty interesting. Theres not much to say about him. He takes attendance randomly and you get a participation grade. Theres FINAL EXAM which is so annoying but the work load isnt bad at all its honestly just reading. I found free audiobooks on YouTube. I recommend this class for a gen ed if you're okay with reading because thats really all it is.

Im not sure why she has such bad reviews because my experience with her has been wonderful! She is super understanding if we don't get to the weekly readings, and always open to feedback and takes our opinions into account for future assignments. There is a lot of reading but like I said, it's not a big deal if you miss some every once in a while. There is a weekly discussion post on canvas (300 words) a midterm paper and a final project, but she doesn't have a rubric so it's hard to know what she wants. As long as you summarize, analyze, and connect to real world, you should get a 10 on them. She herself says she wants her students to do well and wants to give out high scores. She also has us watch a lot of movies, canceling class so we can watch them from home. She is SO lax on due dates, you can turn anything in up to a week late without penalty, and she extended out midterm deadline also. Overall I really like her class, and I hope the bad reviews don't discourage anyone from taking her class!
