Liu makes it abundantly clear that his main goal in teaching the class is for you to learn the content - and structures the class in a way which really reduces stress. The homeworks are either weekly or biweekly, but was willing to give extensions. The exams themselves were also very doable and he adjusted the final exam after the results of the first. The curve itself was also very lenient. Additionally, he put up notes online for each of the classes, alongside generally following the textbook very closely - which meant review or catching up was very easy and was a huge help. |

Lecture was straight from the book and not very inspiring which was disappointing since his PhD thesis was in differential geometry. |
