Philosophical Issues; Bioethics: Regulating Right and Wrong
Bioethicists help to formulate ethical guidelines for medical professionals and the public. This course involves students in the project of constructing and defending ethical rules regarding four domains in medicine: human and animal research, allocation of scarce resources, prenatal genetic interventions, and physician-assisted dying.
