PLSC205 Expecting a B- Anonymous 12/08/2025 |
I never expected a class on grass to be this hard. I show up to every lecture and leave more confused than I was the last. It felt like the expectation to perform well on quizzes was to literally memorize all the content within the slides. I don't think Dr. Carroll is an ill-intent professor per se, but the structure of his course is definitely old school and intense. If not for the TA, I would've definitely failed this course. |

PLSC205 Expecting an A- Anonymous 12/21/2022 |
Dr. Carroll is a very well-intended and knowledgeable professor. Students that expect the easy A and don't want to show up will obviously fail. This is a 4 credit lab that I took to satisfy my Natural Science Lab credit. While professor Carroll is a good and understanding professor, the course material is quite intense and rigorous. Despite few students, even ones in the major struggled. The material is very dense, but you learn a lot. Overall this is not the worst gen ed lab, and Dr. Carroll does his best. Show up to class and he will show up for you. |
