I was super nervous going into this class, but she is actually an amazing lecturer and explains things very well! The workload is heavy but manageable, which forces me to learn the content. My favorite thing about this class is that she doesn't do exams, but biweekly quizzes and a coding assignment every other week. The quizzes are open note also! One downside is that she gets swamped with emails, so it is really hard to communicate with her. The material is defiantly challenging, but im glad I took the course with her rather than another professor.

This class was a lot of work and very meticulous at times, but none of it was terribly difficult - just a lot of formulas, but everything is open-note. If you've taken AP Stat/STAT100, most of this class will be a review. If not, you should still be fine as long as you pay attention in lecture and take detailed notes. Weekly homework, R studio assignment or quiz, and lab modules, so I had to devote many hours a week to this class, but the quizzes are in place of regular midterms, which is nice. Lectures are recorded, but there are clickers so you still have to attend class. Dr. Tomlinson is a very engaging lecturer and always answers questions with patience and thoroughness, so I'd recommend going to lecture in-person anyway. She cares about her students and their feedback, and tries to make statistics interesting with real-life examples.

Jones is super nice and approachable. He understands that most people are not necessarily into stats. Tries his best to help everyone succeed. Exams are curved. Lecture is recorded. Course material is pretty basic, and the lecture examples, practice homeworks, homework quizzes, and exams are very consistent/similar. A bit boring, but as long as you pay attention in class, ask questions when you're confused, and practice the homework questions, you can get a good grade.

Dr. Jones was very interested in his students' success. He wanted to help students do well and was always open for questions. The class itself was structured well and he tried to build on things. He never assumed definitions were common knowledge so he always went over everything. Depending on the composition of the class, things can feel slow: Dr. Jones spent a lot of time on in-class questions but it took up a lot of class time. His lectures are recorded so if you have to miss a class, you can watch them on ELMS. There is use of R-Studio in this class and the TA took off points for small errors. Homework has two attempts & you can see the answers with an explanation after the first try. I enjoyed the class & the B- is because I missed small assignments.

He records all his lectures, so it really does not matter if you show up or not. He also explains concepts well so that it makes sense when he builds on them, so the content itself is not bad. His exams are also online but you have to take them in person. He always curves them too, so they're not that bad. The vast majority of you grade comes from HW, but you're given two attempts. The use of coding with R Studious was a little annoying, but it's not terrible if you follow the videos he gives ou. Overall, it's not really a hard class, and he does try his best to be funny or entertaining.

Dr. Jones is very nice and really tries to make time to help his students. My semester the Lab classes were optional. He posts the slides and recordings after every class so it's okay if you miss it but sometimes the slides are hard to follow by yourself. There are clicker questions most classes for participation points but its not a big deal if you miss some. There are homework each week on canvas but you have 2 attempts and there are practice modules. Each week there is also either an SRW (statistics in the real world assignment) which is a short written assignment like one paragraph or an assignment to learn R studio coding. The exams are on canvas and you are allowed to use excel, R, or desmos calculator and he provides a note sheet. He also curves them.

This class is so boring. Obviously I had to take it as a psyc major, but its basic stats and you don't really need to go to class to get it. I took Dr. Jones because he had good reviews but sitting in his class for 75 minutes made me want to go back to sleep. He makes a really big deal about people participating and getting to know names and then he kind of makes you feel bad for not participating and him not knowing your name. My suggestion is if you can learn from watching recordings of the lecture, take Dr. Jones, because it will be so easy and you will probably do well. Also, he lets you use excel on exams and you 1000% should do it because it's like free cheating if you input the formulas correctly.

The most patient, kind, welcoming, and most accommodating professor you will ever meet at UMD. I'm ngl I was going through it at the beginning of the semester and missed about 4 weeks of lecture and instruction due to a personal emergency. I was also never great at math (it's still my worst subject), so I was just planning on dropping this class and accept my fate on being behind a semester until I filled Dr. Jones in on what was going on. He gave me as much time and help as I needed as we kept in touch throughout the weeks. He would also post his lecture slides and recordings on ELMS after every class which was incredibly helpful. Keep in mind -- although I did have a few university-excused notes, NONE of my other professors this semester went the lengths that Dr. Jones did to see me succeed.

Dr. Jones is by far the nicest and most accommodating professor I've had in (my one year) at UMD. He truly cares about his students and takes his time with the lectures, making sure to answer everyone's questions. He always presents a chipper demeanor and just brings good energy into the class. He gives two attempts on homework every week which is a GODSEND. Exams are very manageable, and he curves. He only teaches this class in the spring so if you have an opportunity to take the class with him DO IT!

Great, funny teacher and kind guy. If you participate and ask for help when you need it, you will do well. Very concept heavy, rather than pure memorization, which I personally prefer. Exams aren't too difficult as long as you study the study guide he posts and check your work. Homework may seem high-volume but it is actually very manageable. Love this teacher.

About the person: I had Mrs.Tomlinson in an online winter semester and she seemed like a very nice person. Her goal is to get you to love statistics, and you can really tell she likes statistics which sort of rubs off on you, making it much more tolerable to study statistics for hours on end. She is also pretty flexible and understanding in situations I know other teachers wouldn't have. About the class: I would not recommend taking PSYC200 in the winter. The amount of work is absolutely insane. Probably like 7+ hours a day on average. Just the instruction videos everyday tend to be 3-4 hours long and then you usually have 3-4 assignments to complete which take hours to do if you want to earn a good grade. However, if you are willing to put the hard work in you can earn an A.

Although I am expecting to earn a C in her class, I would still recommend this professor. Attendance is very important in this class, and it is easy to make a habit out of not going. The early lecture times make attendance harder, but I'm not how much control she has over her class times. The class has a heavier workload than most 3-credit courses, but she tries to make it more manageable with assignments consistently due on certain days of the week for the semester. I admire her passion for statistics, and she makes lectures as engaging as she can. I can tell that she greatly cares about her students and tries to make the class better through surveys asking for feedback. Participation makes up a great deal of this course (30%), and there is little leeway for missed assignments. Planners/calendars for assignments and due dates may significantly help you in completing assignments (as it can be easy to forget about assignments because there are so many!). The assignments themselves are not hard at all, but active participation and discipline are REQUIRED in order to get good grade.

He is obviously passionate about the class but you can't really understand him in lecture. Just hard concept to grasp. -He does participation point which can help raise your grade in the end. -Really, the only way I felt like I passed the class was going to offices hours and meeting with the TA. -When I stopped going to class and just meeting with TA during office hours that's when I started doing well.

Nothing bad to say about this absolute GOAT. He really might be the best professor at Maryland. I hate STAT and think its so boring and confusing but Jones made the material understandable. By no means is Benjamin a really bad professor. He usually teaches nicely in his lectures and his TAs are helpful. But the structure of the course makes it very difficult to get an A. So if that’s something you are worried about, you might want to consider other professors. Benjamin literally made the homeworks the most weighted part of the course. And no kidding, they imo are the toughest part of this course. Now maybe my review is not reliable since I procrastinated but even then, you will really need to spend LOTS of time on the practice homework before you do the real homework if you want even a chance of doing well on the real homework. I wish he would weigh the other assignments higher and make the homework contain less questions, like maybe 10-15 questions since we already have a lot on our plates. If you want an easy A, this is not the professor for you. But if you are willing to put the time and organization in, you may have a chance of succeeding.

He puts on way too many formulas on one slide thinking that it will explain how they were derived but it just makes things more confusing and hard to understand which formula we are actually supposed to use. However, he is easily accessible and goes above and beyond for his students

This professor is horrible, truly horrible, I took PSYC200 with her last semester and hated the workload and the way she lectured. She does not take the time to explain concepts instead just teaching a single example and nothing else, she also assigned way too much homework, with hours of work each week. I am now taking her for PSYC300 and have to say DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS, she is an awful professor, most of the things we have done so far have been repeat assignments from PSYC200 and she assigns anywhere from 12-15 assignments a week, which is just way too much, when I reached out to my TA about the sheer volume of work there was she told me I was being dramatic and that this is what the University recommends but no other class I have taken has been this bad.

I took PSYC200 with Prof Tomlinson in the Winter, and would not recommend it. For context, I had taken AP Stats in high school, and found it really easy (even got a 5 on the exam). The content isn’t hard, but it’s too much for three weeks. You have to watch about 3-4 hours of lecture videos everyday, another two hours on Wednesdays for labs and R modules and another hour for homework. She’s an okay lecturer and you’re mostly learning for pre-recorded videos which is nice since you can rewatch content. However, you never really see her. She hosts a review session on Fridays which isn’t helpful at all, and I don’t think she has office hours. Moreover, her exams are usually an incorrect measure of knowledge. It’s a math class and the exams are solely based on whether you put the numbers in correctly on Canvas, not whether you know the processes of theory behind the work. There’s no partial credit, and she’s a stickler about late work giving no credit. The class average for exam 1 was about 72% and for exam 2 it was about 70%.

Dr. Tomlinson is easily one of the most caring professors I have had. I do not understand why there is so many negative reviews of her, she is truly a gem. Perhaps people are confusing the difficulty of the content with her as a teacher, which is incredibly unfair to her. She cares about student needs, she is flexible, receptive to feedback, gives lots of opportunities for points and extra credit, and is extremely fair. She puts in a lot of effort to organize and manage class, and she is so engaging during lectures. I was worried about this class coming into it, but I honestly feel so much better about statistics because of her guidance and teaching. She makes things very manageable. My best tips are to attend all the classes, take notes on EVERYTHING you can (module readings, lecture, lab videos), attend review and lab sessions, and just get the work done in a timely manner. Emailing her or a TA when you need help will help you as well. Many of the discussions and assignments are easy points. I highly recommend Dr. Tomlinson.

I literally love Professor Jones he was such a great teacher!! I had no knowledge of statistics prior to this course and was nervous it would be hard to keep up, but Professor Jones was a great lecturer and made sure no one fell behind. Halfway through the semester he changed the format of the homeworks to be more accommodating to student concerns, and everyone improved their grades. He even cracked some jokes in class which made it less boring. The only thing I didn't like was the R homeworks, but it's part of the course so whatever. Definitely take him, he wants you to do well and cares about his students.

Very great professor, he really cares about his student's learning and wants them to do well. He picks really good TA's who are really accommodating and nice and want to help you as much as possible. He talks very fast in lecture which can make this class in particular very hard but he records every lecture so I stopped going to in person class and only watched the lectures so that I could take my own notes and take my time with it. There are 3 exams, including the final, worth 10% of the grade each, as well as weekly homeworks with 20-35 questions and either a short reflection or an R programming assignment. The R assignments can be time consuming but are kind of easy. This topic can be really hard to grasp but Dr. Jones makes it bearable. 10/10 recommend him to take this class with.

(junie) b jones was great. He's really kind and tries to take everybody's opinions into consideration, covers content pretty well, tries to grade as fair as possible. Class has lots of clicker credit and homeworks were fine at least after he fixed the formatting. If you're having trouble with R def go to the TA session and maybe even jones' office hours. He's caring and laid back at the same time only thing is that I wished he was a little more assertive. Still great tho he made statistical methods seem simple. Also helps to learn how to do math in excel/spreadsheet I think he said he might teach that in future semesters but if not it's definitely worth looking into.

Engaging lectures and great prof that really cares about his students' learning. We had 3 exams, weekly homework 20-35 questions, clicker questions, and SRW papers and R programming assignments (due alternating weeks), which was all fair but still challenging and a lot of work. He posts his slides, lectures, and textbook blog online. My only complaint for Dr. Jones is that he talks WAY too fast so it's hard to keep up.

I have a lot of mixed feeling about Dr. Tomlinson. I’ll start with the good. I really do think she is a great lecturer for this class and does a good job at explaining the material and making it relevant. She provides a lot of extra practice material if you do want that extra practice or explanations. She’s also pretty accessible if you have any issues or need to reach her. On the other hand, I don’t think she takes students needs into consideration, which can be really stressful considering some of her class policies. For one she doesn’t take any late work unless its excused. This policy pretty much tanked my grade. I understand not wanting students to turn things in late week after week, but I only missed one (1) assignment by AN HOUR and I was never really able to recover. Although my grade in the class wasn’t bad, it’s not the grade deserved and I know other kids had the same issue. Attendance is also mandatory and accounts for 30% of your grade, which is kind of brutal for an 8am class. I pretty much came in half asleep just to get my clicker points and would watch the lecture videos later in the day. The content can be hard to understand and sometimes she goes through her lectures REALLY fast (another reason I just preferred to watch the online lectures). I have the feeling she’s pretty set in her ways and doesn’t have any intention to improve. Instead of actually taking feedback into consideration she’ll blame data and say that her ratings are so low either here or on rate my prof because she is both a woman and teaches an 8am. All in all, she’s not the worst, but if you have the option to avoid her, I would.

I had Dr Jones for online class still. I started out going to live class, but I honestly felt as if the class were going kind of slow, I felt myself not being able to actually focus on class because of that and so I would just not go to class and watch it asynchronously at 2x speed, which made it a lot more lively and exciting. Class itself was pretty easy, there wasn't a crazy amount of work ever and the tests were pretty straight forward. He also gives a lot of time to take the test which is pretty nice. For this class specifically, R programming assignments were pretty weird and I felt that they were pretty disconnected from the class itself. Sum up, it was a pretty easy class but not that exciting, hard to stay engaged.

Deadlines were clear and she held review sessions for quizzes that were very helpful and good practice. She replied to everyone on discussion boards for assignments and her TAs always replied promptly to emails and questions. Overall the content can be challenging at times, but theres tons of resources she provides so that you can improve. It helps to have some stats background but not necessary. DO NOT TAKE PSYC200 WITH TRACY!!! ESPECIALLY DURING WINTER SESSION! She will not bother to see you in person, her TAs suck and her exams are near impossible since everything is online and you have to type everything rather than write out the equations. The equations are complex multi step and tedious and not plug n chug. If you are not good at figuring out which math concepts to use in a given scenario you will not do well. Class average for first exam was 70% and she only offers 1.75% extra credit. Do not listen to the people who expect an A if you struggle with math or plan to take this class online only.

If you took AP stat, this class is basically just a repeat of that. It's honestly pretty dry material and Dr. Tomlinson does about as well as you really can do in making it even remotely interesting. The entire class is open notes, so dont worry about having to memorize equations. Take good notes and actually go to class (or get someone elses notes) and youll be alright (tip - when you get to stuff like z-tests and t-tests, spend like a half hour and learn how to make the calculator do them for you, itll save you a lot of time and calculation mistakes) The homework is a pain in the ass, but it's not terribly difficult, just long. Just set aside like 2 hours each week and crank it out, its doable. The lab videos are absolutely pointless, I'd usually just mute them and have them running in the background while I did other things, and then watched the 10 seconds pertinent to the question that was asked. There is a final paper, again not terribly taxing, just a pain to write. That's basically this whole class in a nutshell. Easy enough, just a pain at times.

Here's the thing with this class. If you're good at math, it is going to be pretty easy. If you aren't, you're going to have to try a bit. The material isn't terrible and Tracy does make it more interesting than it could be (I can't imagine this class with a boring, droning teacher). If you aren't lazy, and you're not good at math, there are lots of opportunities to boost your grade (participation points, a final paper). The homework is not pleasant. There is a lot on Aplia and the setting she has it on is kind of harsh (you get 3 tries on each problem, and if you don't get it totally right the first time you can never get full credit on that problem). The tests are open note/book. PS: if Kapil is your TA, be happy. He's a life saver.

She gives way too much homework. Between videos and aplia it was hard to keep up. Additionally, she does aplia as an average of your best scores instead of taking your best try, which really hurt my grade considering homework was 40% of our grade. The way she takes attendance is ridiculous. You should not have to do clickers, and write out on half sheets. Although I think she would be a good teacher for someone who is naturally good at math, it was a really tough class for me. I also think she was very condescending at times. Her TA's also seemed very ill-informed.

Dr. Tomlinson was nice and approachable and extremely passionate about statistics. However, I felt she often got caught up in answering questions or going through each tiny step of a problem, rather than addressing larger concerns. The homework was okay, though time intensive. The lab videos were AWFUL. They took forever to watch and the questions were often vague or relied on information from earlier in the video, so I would suggest writing EVERYTHING down. Both homework and lab videos are required. There were also half-sheets that had to be completed in class that I felt offered no real value to the students, but attendance to all lectures was necessary for full participation points. The TA's were very helpful to me because they offered review sheets for the test, but I found the class to be a lot of work for very little outcome. A "B" is not typical of my performance in my classes, and I think it goes to show that the tests are not reflective of the lectures, despite being open note.

I had Mark as my TA in discussion, HE IS AWESOME. he went through problems very similar to the homework problems which was very helpful. he is also really funny. homework is due every tuesday except for test weeks. lecture is incredibly boring, i read TFLN the entire time. you have to attend lecture bc attendance is taken in the form of clickers or hand written half-sheets of paper. easy A class with some effort. 1 statistical analysis paper due at the end of the semester. not impossible, just annoying.

Coming into class while already having taken a stats class will make the first part of the material very easy. All tests are open book, including the final. Homework assignments will help your grade have a little boost. Lab is annoying, but you have to go to turn in homework. Unfortunately this class was so early (8am) and boring. He tries to make it funny, but honestly there's no fixing that the class gets dead boring, and often too. But he's a really nice professor, and answers all your questions. One issue are the tests. It's not necessarily 'hard' but he is very picky about answers. To make sure you don't get points off you must write everything and anything. and I don't just mean showing work, you have to say why you are doing what you are doing. Printing PP slides is so helpful for tests.

Dr.Tomlinson didn't bother me initially until midway through the semester. I asked her a question on an exam because the wording of it was confusing, & she responded very rudely with "Do what it says." as if that clarifies or helps me at all? Then on the the paper the first thing that's due she said was to write a rough draft, assuming that was literally a rough draft I wrote the 5-8 pg paper as a rough draft..then the TA emailed everyone the night before it was due to write a 3 pg methodological review & summary..when I emailed to get clarification, nobody clarified. If I had not taken AP Statistics in high school I would be completely lost in this class because Dr.Tomlinson can't teach well at all & makes you do ridiculous examples that don't make sense with the material being taught. She also holds you over class with snarky remarks that she still has 3 more minutes. Don't take this class with her, take this class with the other guy that teaches it he seems really nice & helpful UNLIKE her.

Best math teacher I've ever had in my life. She truly cares about her students and wants to help. She asks often if she's doing a good job and has students review her class at different points. Sometimes she goes over things too quickly but as long as someone asks her to slow down or repeat things she has absolutely no problem with it. She is always willing to meet with students to help as well. 8am SUCKS. It gets very hard to pay attention and stay awake in a stat class that early but Tracy does the best she can with it. The discussion board is always open online for questions and Tracy or a TA gets back to students within a few hours at the most. She's very enthusiastic and ALWAYS wears black. LOTS of homework, exams are pretty tough, but if you have to take this class she's definitely the one to take it with.

He posts his lectures online which was really helpful when it came to studying for tests. There's a homework assignment each week, which isn't hard but usually it can take 3-4 hours. But don't worry about that, because as long as you attempt the homework, you will receive full credit. The exams are open notes. I definitely recommend Mohr to others.

Course taken Spring 2011 semester. I got an A. I was worried I would get a B, but going to lab discussions and lectures help. Concepts are easy to grasp once you go to lab. Go to lectures; there is a participation grade. Don't miss any classes because for the people who abhor math, the class is very doable. Homework was harder than the exams. The paper wasn't awful. The professor loves teaching and always stops to ask questions. Material you need to learn isn't very interesting, but Tomlinson's class makes you understand it well.

While engaging during the course, her exams were a little ridiculous and she assigns far too much homework. This isn't high school anymore: attendance shouldn't be taken at lecture, only at specialized discussion. I can understand assigning weekly homeworks, but the assignments took hours and were repetitive and tedious: it should be our own responsibility to practice what we learn if we wish to do so. A third of the final exam consisted of 2 types of testing that she spent less than a lecture on, was not gone over in discussion, and we were never asked to know even for a homework assignment.

Prof. Tomlinson is a good teacher but she requires a lot! We had ten homework assignments and they ranged from three to six questions. However, each question has about five parts to it so you can see how they would take a long time. The homeworks aren't hard and if you go to lecture and lab you'll be just fine. I got a 77.5 and a 85 on two homeworks and A's on all the rest and this was done with minimal effort. I basically just looked at the notes while I was doing the homework. Also the book isn't really necessary if you go to lecture BUT it is helpful or clarification. I stopped doing the readings after the first midterm exam and I did fine but I also went to every lecture and lab. I'm not really good at math but her teaching style is extremely helpful if you're like me. If you're good at math this class might be a little boring but then again maybe you just won't go to lecture. There are two exams and a final. The final is cumulative ONLY in the sense that you need to remember some concepts and calculations/formulas. There is also a final paper which SUCKS!!! You have to do a rough draft, a peer review, a response to the peer review and a final draft. The paper is a critique of an article you find and I didnt put much effort into in and got an A overall. 16/20-rough draft, 9.5/10-peer review, 8/10-response, and 59/60-final. Luckily I got a really good peer review which helped my final. The class is long and gets boring at times but is definitely a class I would recommend for people that are worried about their grade. You also have to turn ur hw in before she starts talking in lecture or you'll get points deducted. hope this helps :) My final grade was a 94 but with the extra credit(i did all four) i got a 96.

I want to tell you that I'm not done taking this course. However I've completed around 70% of it and can tell you that overall he's a very chill man and overall likes his subject. His grading scheme is out of 200 points overall with 2 tests + final + hwk + a paper, 186+ = A. He also has ~4 extra credit points and if you've taken stat100/math111 you'll find most of the material pretty manageable. TL;DR take him, he'll make Psyc200 easier for you. Oh and he's pretty flamboyant.. So he's pretty lively and what not.

Professor Tomlinson is one of the greatest professors at the University. She is patient and makes class exciting. As a person who is not that great at math, I understood everything. She did a very good job of communicating the material. She is exactly what a teacher should be.

Very average professor. Nothing about her stood out to me except she took attendance 10 times a semester which was a *****. I would recommend her as a Psyc200 prof as she has great reviews right before the test and posts all powerpoints online. Makes studying a cinch.

Tracy seems to be a great professor, but the class is just extremely boring (and that's not entirely her fault). The material has very little to do with psychology, and I can't imagine it any different than STAT100 or MATH111. She was very bubbly and a good speaker, but the material just seemed old (I found it to be exactly the same as my high school AP stat class). So if you have to take the class, it won't be awful. The material will just be boring.

I am not sure what the other people are talking about. Tracy Tomlinson is an expremely poor teacher. She is condescending, disrespectful, and unprofessional. She is also unfamiliar with some of the course content, which shows in lecture. The work that she has students do is tedious and unhelpful. The class is more focused on calculations than concepts, and Tracy looks to deduct point wherever she can. She treats her T.A's terribly, and it is clear that they do not like her as well. Lastly, the concepts she teaches are not consistent with other introductory level statistics for psychology classes. She should not teach the class again.

very nice professor..really cares about students and wants you to understand. If you don't understand something she will go over it as many times as needed. the course consists of three exams, final paper, and ten homework assignments. the homework assingments are extremely difficult and time consuming. if your not willing to spend an average of 5 hours on each homework you wont finish the assingment. she tends to post problems that she never went over how to do and don't make sense. in lecture she can get confused about what she is saying and is sometimes unclear. But before each exam she post a study guide..i would recommend not studying for the exam until this is posted..her exams are exactlyyyy the study guide..everything she says you need to know will be on it and never tries to trick you..she is extremely fair when it comes in that sense..exams are straightforward..one downfall are the homeworks.

Professor Tomlinson is a really great professor. She is extremely helpful and goes over topics more than once. The material in the class is not very difficult if you have taken a statistics class before. There are 3 exams, and she gives a review class. If you study the review you will do well on the test. There is one homework assignment each week, and its pretty tedious, but not very difficult. My only complaint about this class is that she posts the homework late at night, which makes it difficult to complete in time for lab, which is the only opportunity to ask any questions. Instead of having a final you have a final paper, which can be interesting if you choose a good article. The only bad thing is you have to write a paper reviewing someone elses paper and then respond to the person that edits your paper. Overall this class is not that difficult, and Professor Tomlinson is a good teacher.

I did not enjoy Dr. Tomlinson's method of teaching statistics. She went over a lot of lectures pretty quickly and even if people asked questions, including myself, I felt that I was still left confused because of how fast she goes over the material. I've taken two statistic courses before this one, so you'd think I'd be able to understand and breeze through this course, too. Not at all. If her teaching style was a little different, I might have liked her a little more. The work load isn't bad, though. Homework is pretty stupid because she gives 6 parts for each question (usually 5 or 6), but only 2 questions are graded. So, yeah, kind of a waste of time for all of that work. The tests aren't too bad if you know the material; you can have a half sheet with formulas on it. Her attendance policies are ridiculous and your homework is counted late as soon as she starts talking in lecture on the day it's due... no excuses, even if you're sick.

Tracy makes this class harder than it needs to be because her lectures are so thorough. Weekly homework assignments, sometimes difficult, sometimes simple. EXAMS ARE EASY. Just make sure you study the review slides! She literally takes the questions right off of them and changes the numbers. Final paper instead of a final exam, which is a critique of an article that includes statistics. Lectures posted online, online discussion board which tracy responds to (very helpful when doing homework) lectures too long though, easy to fall asleep.
