Stefano Villani RELS342 Expecting an A Anonymous 01/08/2025	Professor Villani is not only an excellent and very passionate professor for the lower levels as others have mentioned, but upper level classes as well. His Italian background complimented our renaissance and mostly Italian and Northern renaissance history class very well. Professor Villani also gave me a more complex and enriched understanding of the coursework that ultimately became more important than just the grade. He also made it very clear that he cared for students and what we were learning on an individual level while also being open to our critiques which he often sought out. Although the class is not graded on participation and 2 take home essays and handwritten finals and midterms he is not a harsh grader and you'll often find yourself not wanting to skip lectures just based on all the interesting bits of information you'll be picking up.
