Jennifer Ashlock SOCY225 Expecting a B Anonymous 05/09/2025	Shes veyr nice but I don't think I would take her again. Lectures were boring. The topics were interesting though. Her grading was kinda weird and I would get lots of points off on exams and papers for silly things. On one of my exams she took (a lot???) of points off on one of the questions because I didn't include a certain detail that the prompt did not ask me to include. I gave the reasons something happened but did not write about one specific one so she took off points. Overall she is very nice and the class is not crazy hard but I definitely would not recommend her.
Liana Sayer SOCY225 Expecting a B- Anonymous 12/16/2023	You can tell she's passionate about her job with the discussions she provokes but is overall monotonous. Coursework is laid out from day one, just a lot of readings and discussion posts weekly/biweekly. The discussion memos are lengthy but if you're like me and got put with crappy people, she'll let you work by yourself and give you a lengthy extension. The assignments aren't much either, TAs are just hard graders so they just got to my grade that's what messed me up the most. Make sure you know the key concepts, principles, and theories that's really all that was centered around it. Midterm and finals are only 10% each so don't stress it just do well on everything else and you're fine.
