She's a good professor, I was having a rough semester with other courses so I wasn't able to put my everything in the course, but I did my best. I recognized that she noticed that I was still completing my work and putting in effort and I respect her for that. The work wasn't challenging at all and there were projects that were a bit challenging like performing or presenting in front of the class. She's very understanding and she cares about her students. She's easy going and you will learn a lot from taking a class with her. :) |

If you have to take FREN250, Madame Accilien is a solid choice. I didn't loveeee the curriculum for this class as sometimes it felt a little arbitrary and unproductive, however I don't think she was totally in charge of deciding this. She's very caring and overall just a nice person. However, she DEFINITELY picks favorites. Nonetheless, exams and assignments are well-communicated and fairly graded. Sometimes her canvas was a little unorganized or out of date but she always fixed this if you brought it up to her. |

She is such a caring professor and genuinely wants you to do well and succeed!! I will say though as someone with already a decent level in French, this class was not too hard for me, but some of my classmates struggled with remembering stuff that was taught in 204 and came back in 250 (I have not taken 204 so I don't know what was in it). All in all though, take her!!! Workload was not bad at all and she grades fairly and nicely!! Also fairly sure she curved the final because we all came out with good grades after thinking we failed. |
