Class is easy enough but its a decent amount of busy work. If you already have materials(Linkedin account, cover letters, strong resume, professional headshot) it makes it a lot easier. Everything is due on Friday's so you are able to go at your own pace. I will say she is kind of a harsh grader when it comes to the very few in person activities. You have to do 1-2 zooms and she gives VERY limited times for them, then continues to say that if you have another class it doesn't matter and you still must attend the zoom or you will get a 0. Overall easy course for an extra credit. |

I needed another credit to keep my scholarship and I thought this would be a useless class but I actually learned some nice skills and it didn't have too much work at all |

Kind of a harsh grader for a class that is only half a semester and all online. I learned some nice things about interning and looking for a job. But the best part of this was getting a one-on-one with a resume builder pro who helped you improve your resume. There was also an assignment where you had to practice a job interview with someone from the career center. This class uses handshake a lot as well. The class was pretty straightforward, with weekly modules to complete. Easier elective to take if you need more credits! |
