Ustadha Samah is so amazing!! We keep to a rather strict schedule, as with all of the Arabic classes I've taken so far, but she is incredibly lenient and understanding. She takes the time to answer every question and give each student the attention they need to improve. Every one of my classmates and I have progressed so much with her help, and it has created an amazing environment in the classroom--both academically and socially. The whole Arabic program is filled with great people, but no one comes close to Ustadha! |

I had Ustadha (Teacher/Professor) Samah for Arabic 105 and currently have her for Arabic 204. She is an amazing and very kind teacher who genuinely cares for her students. I have only felt comfortable and confident in that class and never embarrassed of my proficiency level and that is 100% because of the type of teacher she is. She is always open to questions and answers them happily. The amount of homework we are given is very reasonable, and in my opinion, she is a lenient grader. During class, we primarily work in partners/groups on ungraded worksheets and textbook drills to help enhance our writing, listening, and communication skills. She makes learning Arabic interesting and fun. DO NOT HESITATE TO TAKE HER! SHE IS THE BEST! |
