Anand Anandalingam BMGT207 Expecting a B+ Anonymous 12/24/2024	I believe he is maybe too passionate about AI. He needs to be right all the time, and doesn’t welcome conflicting viewpoints from people who are experienced with certain AI applications. There were 2 instances where he flat out said we should use his rendition on the topic despite it being objectively false. There was also an instance where we were placed in breakout groups to discuss an opinionated question and one group was told that their response was completely unsatisfactory, despite their reasoning and he said they should’ve thought of macroeconomic approaches to the question…Furthermore, a $50 subscription for a platform to grade discussion post hw’s is required. Theres an open note multiple choice midterm which is weirdly worded (one question being straight up an opinion question that isn’t in any notes, ties back to needing to conform to his viewpoints on AI). At the end of the semester you need to complete a group podcast and a 20 page final paper, the only two assignments he grades. No stated grade cutoffs, received a B+ with a 93% rip. A 2.5 hour class not for the weak, many fall asleep, the rest are subject to the above.
Anand Anandalingam BMGT207 Expecting an A- Anonymous 12/21/2024	does not make clear rubrics and assignment requirements clear and then docks you on nitpicky things, and midterm is open note but questions are confusingly worded. Really boring 3 hour lectures but attendance is graded.
Anand Anandalingam BMGT207 Expecting an A- Anonymous 12/04/2024	Professor Anand is a nice guy, passionate on what he is teaching, and very engaging. However, the class is nearly 2.5 hours long and can be exhausting after a long day. There is one mid-term which was questionably worded and near impossible to study for, but open note. Discussion posts are every two weeks and an easy 4/4. At the end of the semester there is a group project, lengthy 20-page report, and optional extra credit assignment for 5% of your grade. Attendance is mandatory and you lose 1% of your grade for every class missed, which can be frustrating. Attendance was still mandatory with no recording of class on Halloween from 6:30-9:00 PM! Still peeved about that. Overall, the class is little to no work for most of the semester, and the lectures are interesting despite the long length. I recommend the class to anyone interested in recent AI developments.

Anand Anandalingam BMGT207 Expecting an A Anonymous 04/30/2024	Lectures are super long and goes on long, unnecessary tangents sometimes. The main way of submitting homework relies on you paying for a website forum. Other than that, it was a pretty interesting class with good topics to think about.

Anand Anandalingam BMGT207 Expecting an A- Anonymous 06/02/2021	Lectures were super long and fatiguing. Anandalingam does a decent job explaining certain topics, but youtube videos explain most of them a lot better. He has an accent that is not too difficult to understand.
