This professor was very lenient on grading, A+: 100-95, A: 95-90, A-: 90-85, B+: 85-80, B: 80-75, B-: 75-70, C+:70-65, C: 65-60, C-: 60-50, D: 50-40, and anything below is failing. I took this course over the winter session and it was A LOT of work. It was about 20-25 hours per week with about 12-16 assignments due each week. There was a midterm each week, which was fairly easy compared to other economics courses. The professor provided office hours for an hour each day and even did some over holidays/weekends. This was an asynchronous class and all the lectures were prerecorded online.

I took this class during winter session. It felt very disorganized and I didn't find the professor to be very helpful or accessable. The class is hard but there's a curve

Took Econ200 over the winter. It felt disorganized and I didn't find the professor to be much help. As for grading the professor is pretty good about being lenient. If you struggle with Econ I wouldn't suggest taking over the winter. Overall though it wasn't too bad.

398P was winter only classs. Grade was based on 4 assignments. Two 5-10 minute videos on papers, slide sets, and presentation of said slide sets. There’s a lot of readings (I didn’t read any) and the work is very manageable. It’s an easy credit, you can complete all of the work for the class in less than a day. Batra grades easily, provides solid feedback, but one thing that I wish he did was provide a better rubric/template to follow with the assignments. Overall, I recommend anyone to take this class, even if you’re not an economics major!
