Professor Batten is genuinely a mean person. Without getting into detail, I truly felt targeted in her class because I needed ADS accommodations and couldn't get them yet. Although we had a serious incident in the class and she asked for us to be patient with her, I truly feel that wasn't the case in which she treated me. She made me uncomfortable to go to office hours and to even ask for help because I was scared of what her remarks would be this time. I think she knew I had academic disabilities but just wanted to think I was this lazy, careless student. |
