I enjoyed 240 with Alex. Very good at explaining concepts and his lectures are easy to follow. Tests weren't too challenging, as long as you understand and do the homework/quizzes you'll be fine. Only gripes I have about the class was that he never provided any practice tests for the exam. Not a big deal though since his exams were pretty close to the homework. He also doesn't drop any quizzes, which makes it a bit less forgiving but the quizzes are also similar to the hw. |

Really friendly, knowledgable instructor. He frequently checked in with the class to make sure they understood the material, made himself available for students having trouble in the course. I would recommend taking any course with him! |

I really enjoyed taking MATH240 with Alex. He was a great professor and was very organized with his lectures. He was really passionate about what he was teaching, and that made it a lot easier to stay interested. He didn't post past exams or anything, but if you do the recommended homeworks, study quizzes, and do Yashinski's past exams you will be completely fine. Overall, I would definitely take him again if I could. Highly recommended! |
