She runs the class in a very open discussion manner which is nice for what this class is. Assignment directions are sometimes confusing, and she does not go over them unless someone asks. She is very nice and cares about the class a lot. There are only 4 assignments but they are big papers and she does grade like it is a real academic english essay so I would expect an a- or a for this class based on how good you are as a writer. Would recommend her and this class, the class is an amazing opportunity. |

Fun an engaging class. She was a former member of the OBAMA administration and teaches concepts eloquently. She makes the grant giving process feel both fun and challenging enough to stay engaged. The stories about Obama add a lot to the class experience. Would highly recommend. |
