His powerpoint's do not have a lot of information so if you miss class or skip the reading, you won't know what is going on. It's an interesting class but a lot of work, requires a lot of your time, and the grading is a bit harsh. It's a cool class especially if you like greek mythology. There's one midterm and a take home final which is nice.

Great lecturer and course content is interesting!! This class is a lot of work for a gen Ed though. There are weekly essays for discussion and lots of readings to complete.

Dr. Bravo is a great lecturer! He's very engaging and covers a wide variety of interesting topics. He covers the midterm and final material in great depth, so if you show up to lecture and do the readings (both of which are very interesting!) then you should get a super easy A. I never had to study for this course at all and got an excellent grade!

He is a nice professor, but his CLAS170 class is incredibly difficult. Midterms are based on both a deep understanding of the texts and in-class discussion: if you don't read the books in depth and understand the concepts at play, you will fail.

This class was extremely easy. Guest lectures every class, no exams, 2 midterm papers, 300 word free write reflection each week. There is an attendance grade I think its 10%? The final is a group presentation and a group paper. I wish Professor Bravo taught more however, only a few of his classes were taught by him and he was really passionate and a strong lecturuer. Some of the guest lectures put me to sleep, but I always looked forward to coming to this class to find out who the next guest lecturer would be. Covered a huge arrary of archeology and you did not really have to learn the material becuase you weren't tested on it. However, I found that I was really engaged with the lectures and found them interesting so I was learning the material with no pressure.
