Foivos Chnaras Anonymous 09/26/2024	Absolute giggachad of a TA. I honestly don’t write reviews for professors and TA’s but Foivos is truly the goat of GOATS. Spends a lot of time truly caring for his students and making sure they understand the material. Goes above and beyond when answering questions. Explains concepts in the easiest manner possible and accepts any theory/conceptual questions in his office hours. And even holds preparation office hours before exams. The Greek in him also adds a lot of aura when he speaks about math. Truly believe he’s tied to the pythagoreans in some sort. Very humble guy and encourages failure to be the guide to really learning(not just memorizing)
Foivos Chnaras Expecting a B+ Anonymous 08/15/2024	What an absolutely godly TA for MATH241. He is always willing to help, really thorough and clear with explanations, and just genuinely such a nice person. Anyone who takes a class with Foivos should consider themselves extremely lucky!
Foivos Chnaras MATH241 Expecting a B- Anonymous 05/29/2024	Truly the Greek god of Math. One of the best TA I had, explained all the topics in a much simpler form and was willing to spend extra time to help you do well in the course.
Foivos Chnaras MATH241 Expecting a C+ Anonymous 05/18/2024	Honestly the most goated TA. I had him for both Calc 1 and Calc 3. If you have him in any class as a TA or if you have him in the class but he’s not your TA go to him for help during office hours. He is quite literally a one on one tutor and is great at doing his job. He helped tutor me in Calc 3 when I was worried I was gonna fail since the professor does not curve. But with his help I scored above my past exam scores on the final and did extremely well. If he ever teaches any class as a lecture I would take him. He is so down to earth and makes sure he does review sessions before each test for the professor. I wish him the best in life as he’s extremely passionate about teaching mathematics, and I know he will have a successful future. Foivos if you read this it’s Duncan thank you for what you’re doing!

Foivos Chnaras Expecting an A- Anonymous 04/19/2024	He is the greatest TA I’ve ever had, nothing but love and respect for this man. Everything he explains is smooth and he makes sure everyone understands everything before he continues. From the most complex topics to even simple derivatives he shows you step by step how to get to an answer. He’s genuinely passionate about math and enjoys being able to help students. Even if he is in another discussion I recommend you go to his discussion as you will grasp a lot.

Foivos Chnaras MATH141 Expecting an A Anonymous 05/08/2023	BEST TA. Literally nothing else. He is so clear with his explanations, wants you to understand the math rather than just memorize. Emails are superb when you ask HW questions, and office hours are basically extended discussion because he will stay with you for however long so you can understand the work. He is passionate about math and it shows, and he wants every student to succeed. Also, he clutches you for quizes by basically guiding you while taking it, but still allowing you to do it yourself. Loophole. 100% recommend him

He held exam review sessions which are really helpful because students were able to ask questions and review common exam problems. He is really great at teaching and reviewing the lectures the professor had taught the day before.

Foivos Chnaras MATH141 Expecting an A Anonymous 02/03/2023	An amazing TA, he has helped me so much throughout calculus and I would not be nearly as confident or successful without his assistance. He is incredibly accessible and will always answer your questions, and he never makes you feel stupid for not knowing something. I wish I could take him for more classes! If you can, take his section, he is wonderful.
