Professor Collins is awesome. She is super accommodating and nice. Easily my favorite Gened I have ever taken and I actually feel like I got something out of it (becoming a better writer). Unlike most needlessly stressful Geneds, this one actually was a stress reducer for me last semester. |

I was scrambling last minute to fulfill a DSSP and this class was still available. One of the best decisions I've made! Meghan is a wonderful professor who is passionate about writing. In this class, students will write 2 short stories, partake in workshop days, and complete a few easy critical response papers. Definitely, take ENGL272 if you enjoy writing. |

ENGL101 Expecting an A+ Anonymous 12/13/2022 |
This course was boring, but Meghan was nice and made it clear she cared about her students. You can definitely get away without doing the readings and I'd say she is a fair grader on assignments. I'm not sure if she actually docks your grade (it's in her syllabus that she does), but I would recommend not skipping class since she pointed out near the end of the semester that missing class a lot affects the participation part of your grade. Discussion boards seemed to be graded on completion and we only did around 10. The first half or so of the semester is a lot of assignments/readings, but it slows down in the second half. I'd take her again for another class if needed! |

She was really cool about missing class and having late assignments. She doesn’t even deduct points for late submissions. Super nice and obviously cares a lot about her students |

Meghan is amazing. She's so sweet and understanding, she really cares about her students. I missed one of the workshop days because of things going on in life and she completely understood. I've never seen a professor say your mental health is more important than my class. While there were readings for a little, everything is structured around reading each others stories. I enjoyed this class a lot. Thank you Meghan for just being you. |
