Highly recommend taking BMGT380 with Cooper. The material is dense and can be difficult to understand, however he makes it easy to digest in class. He gives hypotheticals all class that relate to the material, in order to show the real world applications of law. This is super helpful for exams as well as it gives a better understanding of the application. You will need to read the book and study. He’s great about answering questions and he clearly knows his stuff. It’s obvious he loves law and he has fun teaching it. |

Amazing professor. Cannot recommend him enough. Funny, kind, understanding, and so knowledgable. He makes class fun and keeps students engaged. Explains the material in a way that can be very easily understood by non-law students and the exams are pretty easy if you pay attention in class. |

Cooper is genuinely the best professor I've ever had. He explains everything in an easily digestible way and makes class interactive and fun. I was originally dreading this class but it quickly became my favorite class I've taken. He is extremely passionate about the subject and his students' success. I always look forward to going to class and could not recommend him enough. |

Ignore the reviews about the other professors, this is your top choice right here. Even though I took the risk on the new guy I would do it again. All I can say is this, our class had the highest exam averages overall compared to other sections and once again this was during his first semester at UMD. He responds to emails faster than my ex-girlfriend and offers internship opportunities. If this isn't a no-brainer then I don't know what is. |
