Overall, 321 with Dr. Cooper has probably been my most enjoyable accounting class so far. She lets her personality show during class, which is a breath of fresh air from the usual somewhat boring course content. The coursework itself is a continuation of 221, so if you take this right after that class you'll be better off. Homework is the usual McGraw-Hill stuff with two exams worth 35% each, but you get a cheat sheet, a curve, and she gives tons of extra credit during class for answering questions, correcting her mistakes, or reading something for her. She also lets you redo the first exam later on in the semester if you want. |

The professor is very kind, posts blank lecture notes and the key to it, as well as the zoom recording of the class. Is responsive to email and canvas messages but prefers email. She's an actual Managerial Accountant too. I wouldn't take any online summer class if you don't pay attention though, one chapter usually takes two days, which is pretty quick. Your Midterm was 30% of your grade and the Final was worth 40%. She allowed you to write a cheat sheet for both. Cheating isn't really possible since your screen is recorded and so are you. |
