She's the sweetest. Can be slow with tech which takes time out of class but we usually only go over a few slides and she tends to end class early. Truly wants the best for her students and she gives excellent instruction/feedback and has strong overall communication with you. Would highly recommend for J200 - as long as you do your work and make a good impression, you will do well. Don't be late on the first day! I've observed that she will take notice. |

Amazing professor! Professor Cox knows her stuff and is always understanding when it comes to deadlines and is very responsive with emails and if you need help in the class or an extension on any assignment and even just general journalism advice, professor Cox is always willing to listen. I have her for 201 this semester and I have full faith that she will continue to be an outstanding professor and amazing example of excellence at UMD’s J school |

My favorite professor thus far in the J-School. She's very kind and understanding and supports you to the best of her abilities! She always responds to emails promptly (and she even apologized to me once when she didn't answer my email immediately, rather within a few hours - that tells you something) with good information. |

One of my favorite professors! She is so nice and very helpful. She is straight to the point when it comes to the assignments and her expectations and she wants you to do well. She is very knowledgeable about journalism and always willing to help if you need it. |
