One of the best professors I've had at UMD. You can tell he really cares about what he's teaching and the success of his students. The homework, term project and exams feel relevant to the course. The exam questions are really fair, you never look at a question and feel surprised and wonder if you learned about the concept. It's a really dense course and some lectures can feel overwhelming but just make sure you show up to class and be an active listener and you'll be perfectly fine. |

Great Instructor. His power points are extremely long and his explanations are much better than the slides themselves as they can be overwhelming. Lectures and homework are extremely relevant to the exams. He really cares about his students' experience and answers all questions with "that's a great question, ______" to encourage everyone. I recommend him for 603. |
