Very nice guy, and is very willing to help. However, since he was used to having teams win the ENES100 competition, it seems I didn't get an A just because we didn't qualify for the competition.

NOTE: The review I'm writing for is Courtney Davis, NOT the Christopher guy. I'm pretty decent in math so I'm not just some dumb, lazy student whining about low grades. I had friends who were taking MATH131 with Cremins and were getting A's while our class was basically failing. However she always says the class average is like 75, and that there would not be a curve. I personally think that's total BS because I've seen like 6 people in just one section with test grades below 50. Her test questions were nothing like book problems or what she lectured in class and more difficult than they should be. I was always getting A's on the weekly quizzes and biomodules in discussion but literally failed on the (second and third) midterms, basically because the questions were worded really strangly. Overall, I assume that other students won't have to take her class because she's going away to Cali (why didn't she go sooner?!) but if she decides to return, then just know, never take a math class with her! Oh sure, she's super nice and eager to teach but that's not worth the C/D I will be getting in her class.

Professor Davis is BY FAR the best professor I've had in the ENEE department. Breakdown: - Exams : Not easy , BUT , graded EASY! In other words, you get LOTS OF PARTIAL CREDIT. - Grades: Gave 50% A's in my class. He curves something like 10%. So to earn an A in his class, you need an overall 80....etc. - Approachable: Very nice, great during office hours...etc - Only 7 HW assignments the entire Semester - 2 Midterms and 1 Final - British Accent

Amazing professor! Interesting, personable, and an effective teacher. If you go to lecture and pay attention, you will get an A in the class. Tests and quizzes are not hard because she does many practice problems in lecture. I highly reccomend taking this class!

Definitely the best professor in the EE department in my opinion. Explains everything in great detail and keeps the class interesting. If you are having trouble, go to his office hours, he is highly reachable and does not mind explain the same thing 10 times over until you get it. He is one of the few professors who actually tries to help the students with the tests i.e. tests are similar to the ones he posts online, and he would hold review sessions before the test. Also he would give out points for any question graded unfairly or too harshly. I highly recommend this prof.

Awesome professor. Extremely smart man who can break things down to the smallest details so everybody can understand him with ease. Obviously enjoys what he teaches and his field of study. 2 test styles are the following: 1) he gives you more problems than you can possibly finish. You can do a lot of simple problems (low-point value) and accumulate points that way or do fewer hard problems (high-point value) and accumulate points that way - or anywhere in between. He assigns grades by seeing what cluster of scores your score falls into. 2) 8 problems, do 6 and if you do more than 6, he'll grade them all and take the best 6! He really tries to play to every student's strengths in test-taking. Will definitely take this professor again!! Enjoyed him a lot.
