Lots of information. Lecture can be pretty bland some of the time. One midterm. One final, which you take on the last day of lecture for that class of the semester. Should only take 45-50 minutes. Definitely study for midterm, it's a little bit harder than I feel like he let on. Final is easier than midterm. There's no proper study guide for the exams. He releases a "study guide" prior to the exams like literally only three or four days before the exam, and the study guide isn't your typical study guide. It doesn't show example questions, or a mock copy of what the exam will look like. The "study guide" is literally just a list of topics and modules to study. You have to go into the ELMS files and manually look through all of the documents and try and figure out what you should study. That's part of the reason I think the midterm is harder than expected. He also doesn't allow you take the midterm home after it's graded. However, I think the final exam was easier especially because he recycled some of the same diagrams from the midterm. Exams consist of labeling diagrams (you NEED to memorize them or you will do badly), and explain certain concepts related to technical production in theatre.

I had Driggers for TDPS 201. The class was very boring yet provided a ton of information about everything that has to do with production. The assignments are decently easy other than some of the requirements weren't clear. For example Driggers stated at the start of the semester you can turn in your work at any time without a penalty then applied a late penalty to work. He also decided review sessions consisted of him shaking or nodding his head to tell you if he liked the topic leading to me getting a very low midterm grade. I ended up getting an A in the class due to hours of studying for the final. Also the exams are all written. If you need to take this class for your major make sure to submit everything on time, attend every class (because participation is huge,) and study very hard for exams. If you don't need this class don't take it unless you want to memorize every part of lighting equipment or 15 lectures of information.

Love him. Super funny guy, although not the most interesting class. He does his best though and he's great to talk to.
