Pros: -will give points back if you ask -knows his stuff -questions on his tests and quizzes are generally easy -Pretty solid curve on final Cons: - accent and handwriting is very hard to understand -be yapping sometimes - didnt give enough time for a couple quizzes and tests, impossible to integrate 4 triple integrals in 15 mins

Super chill, gives out weekly quizzes that are basically taken right from the textbook so as long as you do the recommended practice problems you're pretty much set. Exams also just go off the textbook and are relatively simple as long as you understand the concepts. His accent+handwriting isn't great but you'll get used to it quickly and he's always welcoming during office hours for questions.

Great instruction, very thorough. Might cover more material than strictly necessary, but definitely helps in understanding the content. Office hours are helpful but not really necessary since you can ask questions during the lectures and discussions. He is very willing to curve tests and quizzes. You definitely need to be able to at least somewhat read cursive since that's how he writes on the board.

Really good professor overall. Sometimes he will overcomplicate things, and his quizzes can be difficult, but overall, they really help you understand what you need to do better

Pretty average, by the book professor. Lecture was straight from the textbook, and his explanations didn't add much (self-study was definitely needed). He didn't go out of his way to provide study resources beyond answers to textbook questions (many of which were just photos of the answer key), which I found to be quantity over quality. Justin has a ton of resources posted on his website, but I didn't find out about it until halfway through the semester, and they don't go quite into the depth that the quizzes/exams in this class did. The quizzes were also extremely time-constrained, considering that many were pretty difficult, though good exam prep (they were doable but required brute forcing the practice problems so that you didn't need to pause and think). The weighing was also pretty unforgiving, consisting only of exams, quizzes (half of which had a 70-75 average even after he added points to the hardest ones), and two MATLAB assignments. TL;DR: not terrible if you enjoy math and have ample time to study, but there are also better, more passionate professors

He knows his stuff and teaches relatively well. He has a French accent, but it's not bad at all and definitely understandable. His handwriting can be terrible at times, but you learn to understand it. A lot of the material is copied right out of the textbook, so if I missed something, I would just check the book. The quizzes and exams are super fair, and if you do the optional textbook homework to study, you're pretty much set, as he uses the same type of questions (sometimes easier than the textbook HW) on the assessments. He's always willing to help and is pretty flexible if you can't make office hours. Overall, super chill guy, would take another class with him.

He's really chill and his quizzes and tests are pretty fair. the quizzes and tests are pretty similar to the type of questions he assigns with the optional textbook homework. His handwriting can be terrible at times, but you get used to it and a lot of what he writes on the board is directly from the textbook so you can find it in the text if what he wrote is hard to read. He's super open to helping with any questions and explains concepts pretty well. His French accent isn't too bad definitely could be worse.

Super chill guy. He had weekly quizzes which really helped prepare you for the exams. He assigns MatLab projects but they're easy if you have experience in MatLab. He does have a French accent and talks into the board from time to time but he explains concepts well.
