She does not reply to emails and the lectures are extremely dry. She is knowledgable about the topic but the class is so boring and does not have much depth, it is hard to render any benefit from it. Says nothing about her expectations for assignments, same goes for the Final Exam. Do not recommend. |

The professor is really nice and approachable, but the course has been a bit hit-or-miss for me. Her lectures can feel dry sometimes, and there's a lot of reading that can be tough to keep up with. She often posts the required readings the day of class, which is frustrating because I have back-to-back classes and sometimes end up attending without having the chance to read in advance. There's always a participation activity, like answering a question on Canvas at the start of the class, and in-class group activity work where each group has to present at the last 15 min of the class. She has said that this is her first time teaching in the U.S., and I know she's still learning to use Canvas, which has caused a bit of confusion with deadlines and materials. I can see she's trying, and with some tweaks to the class structure and timing, I think the course could feel a lot more manageable and engaging. |
