my favorite teacher in my academic career so far. He is beyond intelligent to the point where he can set aside his emotions and values. He simply educates everyone in the conversation, others and himself. Just show up to class and have an hour long conversation in an intellectual and safe environment. I have never been interested in politics or government related subjects, I didn't even know what the class was about when I showed up the first day. This ended up being my favorite class because how engaging professor Feehan is. |

Cool guy but the class is so stupid idk if that's his fault tho. He's got rlly interesting stories and he isn't afraid to share personal details about his life to the class. this class is a lot different from the other scholars classes...very refreshing. |

Best Professor at UMD by far. I had him last year for PLCY201. Extremely fun but makes sure you succeed in his class. His lectures are engaging and he encourages everyone to break out from their shell and participate in his class. Wish he taught more classes at UMD because I would definitely take them. |

Professor Feehan is the sweetest! He cares about his students and tries to make sure lectures are enjoyable. There were weekly discussion posts (doable), one paper, one midterm, a group presentation, and a final. Attend class and you will pass! |

LTC F is one of my favorite professors at UMD so far. He clearly wants us to be successful with how he reviews for exams and gives really few assignments. He just wants people to show up but won't hold it against you if you don't. As long as you show face every so often and participate to the point that he knows your name, you're solid. But what I love most is his teaching style. He's funny, sarcastic, and a little snide. He sometimes pushes you but never in an aggressive or embarrassing way. And he's super engaging. Even though this class material is super basic, he makes it my favorite course this semester. |

If you take 201, take Feehan!!! He is AMAZING :). Class has two essays, a short presentation, and participation points in the form of discussion boards. |

Professor Feehan was an amazing professor for this class. He was probably one of the most "unbiased" professors I've had at UMD in how he led the class. All opinions were able to be spoken and discussed. In fact, he asked people to play devil's advocate if there were no disagreements. Class was always interesting. I definitely recommend Prof Feehan and this class! |

Lt. Col. Feehan is a great instructor who genuinely cares about the class’s retention of knowledge regarding leadership theory. Also, he tries his best to make sure that the class enjoys learning about that week’s topic. If you have him for CPPL 200, you will have a great time. |

My favorite professor at UMD. You will never be bored in any of his classes. He will make you think, and question what you think you know. You'll also laugh a lot. |
