Does not respond to emails and takes off points with no explanation and if there is an explanation it would be for some made up reason that would not be stated on a rubric, so instructions are always unclear and you spend a lot of time wondering what she wants with no answer. Probably the worse experience I have had with a professor at this school. |

This class has been a real pain to take. Assignment descriptions are very ambiguous and there is no help from Dr. Flank so you're really on your own with the course. And then you'll get slammed with a low grade on an assignment and will have no idea why. Dr. Flank also randomly leaves comments on your work that make no sense at all. For reference, I got this: "On images: the next entrepreneurial task is finding the right application for what you achieved. Finding photos for memes? Sure. Classifying tumors accurately? Not good enough to trust." HUH???? does this woman have schizophrenia? If you're going for the minor, you basically gotta take this class. Overall easy, but useless. Thank God for chatGPT. |
