Her teaching style is reading from her packed slides that are riddled with confusing tangents. Her exams are 75 minutes for multiple choice, multiple short answer, and an essay question... me and multiple of my classmates were struggling to finish on time. For the exams she provides a study guide, which is elaborate, but usually less than a week in advance. I will admit, Emily is well intended, she says that she wants us to succeed, but she doesn't provide many opportunities to show this desire, if that makes sense. Beyond that, she is difficult to communicate with, not answering emails after multiple followups. Also- she always goes over time on lectures. The class is already 75 minutes long yet we're usually there for at least 5 minutes longer. I would not recommend this class to anyone, I would actually recommend avoiding it. I thought that this topic was something that I would enjoy and be truly interested in, but I was very wrong! |

She is probably the worst prof ive ever had. Ignores emails and is super unprofessional. Avoid taking from her unless you want to be constantly annoyed. |
