Keven is great! I had him when it was his first year as a professor. He was still a grad student but he was still such an amazing instructor! Very lenient on grading and very understanding about pronunciation, late work, etc. Overall very easy which is nice but if you are looking to really improve your fluency that just won't really happen in 207. Only complaint about assignments would be that there are grammar/reading quizzes on canvas all the time and they just aren't very helpful but you still have to do them. They take like 5-10 mins and are small grades but add up. The class I was in was 75 minutes and sometimes he couldn't really fill up all the class time with instruction which would get boring, but my class wasn't very participatory- if you participate it goes sooo much faster and participation is a big chunk of your grade so I would recommend! |

Keven is the best Spanish instructor I've ever had! He really cares about each one of his students' academic growth and personal lives. He is a forgiving grader and gives good feedback. I would definitely recommend him as an instructor to everyone. As long as you keep up with the work you will be fine. |

Professor Garcia is awesome! I suck at Spanish, but he was very understanding and never made me feel like I was hopelessly behind. He was very good with communication and working with students where they were at. Would highly recommend! |

keven was really nice! I took his winter course was 2 weeks which isnt a lot of time but he made the class enjoyable. The IPA was hella hard compared to our level of spanish so please be prepared. Overall, make sure you don't fall behind there is a lot of material on Lingro. I suggest always being a day ahead so you don't fall behind. He is kinda picky with grading, mostly pronunciation. Overall, pretty chill and nice |
