Easy A, to be honest. There are really only 3 assignments for the semester with occasional mini quizzes that have unlimited attempts with answers that are given in the slides he posts on Canvas; the same slides he presents in his class. I won't lie; his classes get boring after a while and aren't worth going if everything is on Canvas, but you do have to show up for your presentation day. Overall I would say this class is an easy A as long as you put in the work (which isn't a lot from him) and he grades pretty lightly so I would take him as my professor again if I had to.

Let me start off by saying there are way too many classes per week for this course. It was 3x a week at 9am :( but would be fine if it were once a week. He is kind and laid-back. But the lectures after the first few weeks were just unnecessary. This class would get so boring and he would never let you out early. I went to most classes--and it improved my public speaking, but most people only showed up to their presentation days. Put effort in, show interest, and you will do great.

The class is at 8am which sucks but, he made it bearable. You'll have 1 informative presentation, 1 persuasive presentation, and 1 group presentation. The participation quizzes have obvious answers, are all due December 11th, and unlimited attempts. Garnier is a light grader too. While I personally didn't get much from the class, if you have a lot on your plate you should take him for a chill A+.

So Mr. Garnier is a nice guy who makes a really easy class. The class is mostly just him lecturing and was very quiet for a public speaking class, so I found it boring. He doesn't make the class do discussions or really participate. You are graded for attendance though, so I'd recommend showing up for easy points instead of doing the make-up activities later. He's a generous grader, gave me A's on all the speeches, even when I didn't feel good about it. I gave 3 stars because it was at 8 AM, he didn't give time to do any work in class like speech planning - just lecturing all the time and it got really repetitive - and I would have liked to have more speeches and practicing instead of all the theory and just 3 speeches, 1 of which was a group project. If you want an easy A without much work and you're fine with giving speeches then take him. If you actually want more practice getting comfortable speaking and an engaging class, I would look elsewhere.
