Amazing teacher. Very understanding and will let you turn in assignments late. I didn't turn in any work for like 3 weeks and she still let me turn everything in at the end of the semester, which changed my grade from a D to an A-. She makes learning Italian very fun and easy, and the in-class activities make learning the language easier because of the practice. There's a bunch of weekly assignments from the online book that take a little time, but the quizzes and final exam are based on these assignments, so they're worth completing. She also lets you turn in corrections to missed questions on the quizzes for extra credit. She cares about every student and it's apparent. If you want to learn a language, take Gavagni, you won't regret it. |

She’s the best Professor ever!! She makes class fun for every student and she’s very welcoming!! If you have any issues, she’s happy to help. By the end of the course, you will learn the basics of Italian and it’s not scary. Take her!! 100% recommend!! :) |

She is one of the best professors I have ever had. She truly cares about every student. The way she runs her class makes it easy to get a good grade, there's 3-4 homework assignments a night but they aren't hard and really helpful to learning the language. Her goal is for everyone to succeed. Meaning extra credit, quiz and test corrections, and more opportunities to boost your grade if you are slacking. She also makes the class engaging by playing games and always interacting with other students. 100% recommend her. |

Gavagni is genuinely the greatest teacher I have had in all of college so far. She is so caring, the kindest lady, and really just wants you to learn. her grading system is nice and it makes it really easy to do well in her class. She will work with you personally until you understand anything. She is like my second mom. I love her, seriously |

Professor Gavagni is actually the best professor and language teacher I have ever had. If you are deciding to take this class, please do it. You will not regret it. She actually cares about her students and goes above and beyond for everyone. She cares that everyone does well. I'm not the best at languages, but Professor Gavagni made Italian mean something more to me! |

Professor Gavagni is THE BEST. I came from high school and middle school having rude and not very encouraging French teachers. I took French for 7 years and I don't think I would even consider myself 20% proficient in speaking it. One semester with Prof Gavagni and I feel my italian has improved tremendously. She may forget your name sometimes but she is so sweet, smart, energetic, and passionate about italian. She was my favorite professor this year. I think one of her best qualities is not being hard on students who struggle to understand course material. She'll laugh it off and work with you until you get it right. I think everyone in my class loved her as much as I did. The workload is light, she's not strict with attendance, and overall the class is pretty fun. Would definitely recommend! |
