Nathaniel “Nat Gold” Gold is the greatest TA I have ever had. He is genuinely the backbone of this class. The way he breaks down complicated texts and makes them feel clear and manageable is seriously impressive. He doesn’t just tell us what a passage means — he walks us through how to think about it, so we actually understand it on a deeper level. His feedback on papers is detailed, thoughtful, and somehow manages to challenge you while still making you feel capable of improving. He’s patient with questions, always prepared, and brings a calm, confident energy to every discussion. Honestly, he’s the reason the class feels engaging instead of overwhelming — a low-key academic legend. |
