Dr. Goldberg gives engaging and straightforward lectures. If you attend class and complete the homework you will be well prepared for all of the exams. There are no curveballs. Dr. Goldberg is always willing to help. She is patient, kind, and approachable. She is very reasonable and willing to work with you. There was no final for this class; instead, we were asked to design our own experiment. This creative freedom made the assignment fun! I strongly recommend taking this professor for any class she teaches, if you have the opportunity. |

By far one of the best teachers I have ever had at BIOE for UMD. I hate probs and stats but she made the class so easy to digest and understand that I forgot I did not like probs and stats. Her exams are fair and she is very lenient with her grading. She tries to give students as much partial credit as much as possible. The homework can be a little long though(3-4 hours) but other than that. She is a wonderful teacher. |

Dr. Goldberg has been honestly one of the best professors in the entire BIOE department. You can really tell that she put effort into developing a very effective curriculum for the course, and provided a lot of reosurces (practice problems, software resources, etc.) to help us succeed. The class is structured really well, where our grades were based off of participation, homework, discussion problems, and 3 midterm exams and a final project. It might seem like a lot of work, but the homework and discussion problems make it really easy to understand the concepts in the course and do overall really well in the class. Full reccommend her to anyone whose planning on taking a course she teaches! |

Dr. Goldberg puts a lot of effort to explain the topics and make sure that everyone is following up. Definitely one of the best professors. Great way of explanation and a very kind person, however you still need to put a lot of effort to the class to succeed. The teacher is fair with the difficulty of exams and grading. |

Love this woman, such a kind and supportive professor. She helped us review concepts we struggled in from calc 2, allowed for us to understand the concepts easily and provided us so many opporutunities to succeed and ask questions. Her exams are fair, but to get an A you MUST know how to do everything well. Her grades are slightly weighted towards the exams, but your grade can easily get boosted by all the other work. Willing to work with you and help you succeed and makes an honest attempt to learn her students and support their success. 10/10 would ENTIRELY recommend. |

I loved Dr. Goldberg! She was a fantastic professor for a course that is not so easy. She made it enjoyable and easier to understand. She was always willing to answer questions and adjust her teaching style if and when needed. I would definitely recommend her to a friend!! |

She teaches the course in such an easy to understand manner, backed by her experience teaching fluids in the chemical engineering department. She made this class much better than I expected it to be. That said, you do need to put in the effort for this class, its fluids after all. Highly recommend. |

Dr. Goldberg is one of the best professors in the engineering school. She has many years of industry experience, so the class was packed with real-world examples. There are 4 "quizzes" which are moore like exams, and four graded group assignments, a lab report, and a final project, so this class will keep you very busy at all times throughout the year. However, she grades pretty nicely and doesn't throw a lot of trick questins on the exams. |
