she might complain a lot about the work she has to grade but that's because she gives a lot. she sometimes just talks and talks, which takes up class time but it's better than having to get into groups and actually do your work. this is a comms class, you will have to do speeches, you will have to talk in front of the class, and you will be graded fairly well if you just do things SHE likes. otherwise, your grade will take a hit if you don't do things how she makes it. as someone who hates public speaking, i would've given her 1 star because the course overall just sucks and she is old enough where she forgets things or overlooks students in class. her humor is kind of just twisted and sometimes, you don't know if she's snapping at you or trying to joke. just choose another professor at this point unless you want to be called out if you look at her weirdly or she catches you not paying attention for barely a second. get on her good side and i'm sure you'll do fine. |

She is a pretty fun lady, but most of the comments are correct when they say she is senile. She doesn't really understand whats going on in her own class even though she has taught it alot. She gives conflicting information a ton. Like she will say she wants one thing and then when you show it to her she will act like you are stupid for including it. the class is pretty easy, though. |

100% Senile and shrewd, goes off on numerous tangents not relevant to the course or anyone in it. An unnecessarily tough grader for what should be such a cupcake course, Gordon needs to retire for the sake of the department and its students. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. |

Extremely biased grader. If you want good grades talk to her before class and try to get on her good side. She gets angry very fast. Whenever I asked her questions after class she would always go off on unrelated tangents then yell and get mad that I kept her so long after class. She puts a lot of grade points on attendance. There is an informative speech, persuasive speech, a group presentation and an online final. Good luck if you end up with a lazy group because she won't do much other than let you rate them after the project is done. There are also 4-5 quizzes that are easy if you read the book. Overall, the course isn't that hard its just stressful with a professor like her. She can be really sweet but its not worth it. If you can avoid her please do. |

Gordon is senile, forgets her train of thought while talking, forgets instructions she gave out last class, etc.... she better retire by the time I graduate, for her sake and for the sake of all future comm107 students. Other than that, she assigns a bit more work than some other comm107 professors, and is pretty picky about certain grading stuff, but I still struggle to see how you could get less than an A or a B in this class with her. Low-key racist and kept confusing the names of all the non-white kids in our class. Class is entertaining at least, and when it's not, you can do work for other classes in class. |

Really bias grader. you kinda have to sell yourself to her (and the class) so she likes you. Goes off on really long tangents and is all over the place but doesn't give too much work, watch out for the writing center visit requirement. sometimes you can get other work done in her class too. |
