I loved Professor Grossman, he's one of my favorite teachers I've ever had. The class is focused on 3 main speeches, which he gives you plenty of time to prepare and is fairly generous with grading. He gives class time sometimes to work on your presentations, and is clear with instructions. I would recommend this class to anyone looking for an easy A, as long as you can put the work in with those 3 main speeches, and the workload is very light. |

Awful teacher. Stuck up and irritating. Boring lectures. Grades hard for no reason. Miss one class and lose 10% on your monthly attendance grade. Unless you are willing to spend as much time on COMM 107 as any other major related class, your likelihood of getting an A is microscopic with this moron. |

I love Professor Grossman. He was one of the best professors that I have had at maryland. He made public speaking fun and gave great feedback. I am really not a great public speaker but Professor Grossman really cares about his students and wants them to do well. He was so supportive and extremely generous and helpful. I love this man. Take this class when you need to fulfill your public speaking requirement. Grossman is HIM! |

Great professor! Totally recommended. Very friendly guy and approachable. He’s always super lenient and understanding with accommodations. Made the lectures more like fun conversations rather than lectures. Also an extremely fair grader! |

If you need this class, take Dr. G. He’s a fair grader, very understanding, and overall just a cool guy. Plus, I saw an improvement in my public speaking. I recommend him 100%. |

Easy quizzes, fun teacher, chill with deadlines and work. He actually likes teaching and he lets you use your laptop during speeches. |

He is very nice and genuinely cares about his students. The assignments are pretty chill because you get top pick your own topic for each type of speech/presentation. Lectures are very engaging and he doesn't give busy work. A lot of group work is probably the only negative, but that's probably the case in any COMM107 class because the classes are small (~30 ppl in mine). |

Excellent comm107 professor. Fair grader and very helpful. I definitely did get better at public speaking and he gave good advice. He'll help you work through your speech at office hours if you go to them. Made a painful class much more bearable |
