Kelley Gunther HESP214 Expecting an A+ Anonymous 01/22/2026	I took HESP214 with her during Freshman Connection and she was an amazing professor. She explains concepts clearly and makes the material genuinely interesting. The assignments were very manageable and straightforward, and the class felt well-organized without being stressful. Overall, a great course and a really positive experience.

Kelley Gunther HESP214 Expecting an A- Anonymous 12/28/2025	She is a SOULLESS professor. I accidentally forgot to press the submit button on an assignment I worked on for days and finished early, and even though I had everything in and showed her, she proceeded to give me a 50% on it. This made me unable to get an A as a final grade in the class and ruined my 4.0 GPA. She also gives 90%'s on assignments for no reason, and when you email her to ask why she did that, she threatens to lower the grade more and claims she grades "leniently" since it's a freshman class. But again, if you don't make a small mistake like me it's possible to end with an A in the class, but keep in mind attendance is graded with participation points every class. For the final collective project, there was NO proper rubric with grade details, and even though my group followed everything she said needed to be in the presentation, we got a 90% on it. So it's up to you whether you want to take her.
Kelley Gunther HESP214 Expecting an A Anonymous 11/13/2025	Dr. Gunther is a great teacher! If you have the opportunity to take HESP214, do it. She grades lightly and there is not a heavy course load. All of the lectures are entertaining and engaging. Take her class!!
