He's a nice guy and a very knowledgeable person but not a good professor. He's owned several companies and teaches the course through the lens of an entrepreneur. While he's a successful businessman and knows a lot about startups, he doesn't know how to teach a class. Slides are vague and most of the information is said out loud (but lectures aren't recorded), instructions for major projects are vague, and while he encourages students to be creative in their assignments, he's a very harsh grader. I wasn't able to get above an 80% on the weekly essays because he said my writing sounds "too much like AI". Overall, while he's a nice person, I wouldn't recommend taking the course with him if other professors are available. He doesn't provide good instructions for assignments, he grades harshly, lectures are unorganized, and I didn't feel like I learned anything. |
