Genuinely one of the worst classes I've every taken. I took this class as an elective because my advisor suggested it, and it was such a mess. The structure of the class was based off a team paper, memo, and presentation proposal (no quizzes or homework). The rubric for the projects were very confusing and every time I would email the prof for help he would tell me to look at the syllabus. This class was just very disorganized and I would not recommend taking it as a gen-ed. |

Absolutely horrible. Gave out the most confusing and badly organized syllabus at the beginning of the year, then got frustrated when no one understood. Yelled at the class for not understanding an assignment he never explained. The grades were entirely based off two assignments and "participation". I emailed him at the end of the year to get clarification on how grades were calculated, and he claimed he did not need to have a rubric or explain himself. He told me my participation was terrible, yet I was one of maybe 4 total people to actually go to class. He also did not take attendance or have any sort of way to track participation, meaning this must have been completely random. Furthermore, he would also get irate if you corrected any of his MANY errors. During the first presentation, he threw a tantrum. Like a literal tantrum because the class did not understand the expectations. I know this sounds unbelievable, but it was like a fever dream. The man is off his rocker. |

The course structure for this class made no sense. There were no homework assignments, essays, or quizzes. Only one team paper and personal memorandum due on the last day of the semester, and proposal presentations for both of those due mid semester. The professor never gave any real feedback and the syllabus was extremely unclear. The whole class seemed confused. The lectures were just powerpoint slides that didn't help with the papers. Only 3-5 students would show up to class because it was so pointless. Without giving any feedback at all, he submitted grades so randomly, handing out Bs, B+s and B-s and none of us understood why. When I reached out to see what mistakes I made, he never responded. This class was the biggest joke. |
