Amro has been my favorite professor at UMD so far. Yeah he goes really fast in lecture but he grades quickly and all information is posted online. He has prizes for the best project in class, gives candy out for doing well on exams, and brings a very positive exciting energy to the class room. He is very approachable outside of class and really seems to enjoy what he teaches. Amro is the man. |

He does not go over anything. He blasts his lectures very fast and when he provides calculations he legit gives you the problem and the answer no work provided. Bad teacher |

He’s a bit tough to understand because of the language barrier. He is a tad bit condescending, he will get upset if you ask questions sometimes and say things like “I shouldn’t have to explain this..” our midterm had some calculations that he barely went over and when he did it was messy chicken scratch. He isn’t a crazy hard grader, and will work with your specific situation as long as you reach out l. He usually just doesn’t like reviewing calculations at all. Lectures will consist of videos and random discussions on renewables. Overall isn’t that bad compared to other science professors.make sure you do the readings and understand calculations. |
