Donal Heidenblad INST123 Expecting a B+ Anonymous 07/19/2023	Heidenblad is a SQL legend. He cares about his student's success a lot and that's very obvious. His lectures can be quite dry though. I'd recommend this course to anyone in the info sci program as this class greatly prepared me for 327.
Donal Heidenblad INST447 Expecting an A Anonymous 05/12/2023	Really a down to earth guy, happy to help you with what ever you need help with. Lectures are not always the most informative but if you ask questions he is more then happy to help you. Assignments tell you exactly what is required of you and quick to respond to emails.
Donal Heidenblad INST123 Expecting an A Anonymous 05/11/2023	Overall, very solid experience. I learned a lot about SQL and the structure of the course is designed for students to succeed. He's understanding and willing to help whenever the need arises. His lectures are the only reason I gave him 4 stars. They're not bad! If you don't read the book prior to attending the class you pretty much just sit there confused.
Donal Heidenblad INST346 Expecting an A+ Anonymous 05/09/2022	Professor Heidenblad is the one of the best professors at UMD. His lectures are easy to follow and have occasional memes. He is also a lenient professor, if you contact him he will give you extra time. The exams and homework’s are very straight forward as the material is taught throughout lectures. Overall great professor, would take him again.
Donal Heidenblad INST346 Expecting an A Anonymous 12/16/2021	Donal Heidenblad is a great professor. He's really nice and fair. Labs and homework can be hard, but ask and you shall receive help. He explains stuff really well. Exams are easy as they are open note and lecture, just make sure to write everything you know and answer every prompt. Overall I really liked this class and I highly recommend the class and the professor.
Donal Heidenblad INST346 Expecting an A Anonymous 05/21/2021	Great professor that is very knowledgeable about the stuff he is teaching. He cares about his students and is more than willing to help. One thing I will mention though is that this guy does not mess around with plagiarism. Im talking "plagiarism quizzes" and short lectures about cheating before every major exam. Obviously not a big deal because no one should be cheating anyways, but just be prepared.

Though his meme game may need some work, his course structure and willingness to help students understand and learn material are very good. Highly recommend him for this course!

Donal Heidenblad INST346 Expecting an A+ Anonymous 11/21/2020	The only reason I give him 4 stars is because labs are difficult, but he grades very easily. Even with a 6/10 on two labs my grade is still a 99. You just have to turn in assignments on time and follow the rubric and you're good.

Donal Heidenblad INST346 Anonymous 10/25/2020	Get ready to learn absolutely nothing. He designs the course to be extremely difficult for no reason. The material he presents with his lectures are often confusing and difficult to apply to the series of labs assigned throughout the semester and homework assignments.
