The course was pretty straightforward. The first half of the year was lectures, the second half was presentations. The challenging part was knowing what material to take in from the presentations for the exam. There were two exams, a midterm and a final. The midterm was a combination of multiple choice and short answer. The final was all short answer. However, Hoffmann provided a review sheet, which was good preparation for the exam! Homework consisted of several assignments throughout the year involving a combo of multiple choice and short answer. Hoffmann wasn't the greatest lecturer, but wasn't bad either. Sometimes she would get confused and mixed up when she was presenting, but she was approachable and simple. Good luck! |

This teacher SUCKS!!!! Very unorganized and does not care about how students do in her class. Many people failed her midterm and final. I could have recieved an A if it wasnt for her problem sets. ohh and she also gave us a group project , no guidelines , no nothing for it , just gave us a topic and expected us to know what she wanted out of it. Overall i did not like this class but i managed to pull a B. |
